Welcome to the Port Hope & District Health Care Foundation Serving Northumberland County
There are many shortfalls in the healthcare system, and when it comes to your healthcare, or that of a friend or loved one, we believe, that enough is never quite enough. The Port Hope & District Health Care Foundation was formed in 1999 and its mandate has remained steadfast—“Improve the quality of life through the delivery of healthcare programs beyond that funded by the government”.
This is a very exciting time for the Foundation. After a questionable period affecting our healthcare system, we are pleased to report that there is much positive news. Many advances in medical care, therapies, and treatments have either been announced for our location, or planned for the near future. We carry on in our efforts to provide funding for the management and adoption of unique programs, and purchase of much needed healthcare and lifestyle enhancing equipment. With the generosity from people, such as yourself, the Foundation has proudly been able to improve the delivery of these programs, and equipment. Click here for our Brochure.
